Potential Propensity of American Apostasy

(an evolution of the American Dream)

Ripples in the water are in a state ever expanding, conversion of energy over time and obstacles are all that thwart its growth.  When theories become part of tangible sight, it is still a conspiracy even though no longer able to hide; and when monarchs and socialists find the compromise of politics by which to survive, the proletariat is always formed.

​

Self-preservation is a very powerful drive within the human species.  It will override most all other attitudes, resolving logic, reasoning, ethics and morals to whatever means is necessary to overcome a foreboding lost fate.  Faced with survival choices, the human will make every attempt not to succumb, even if other life must be made casualties along the way, whether that life is an ideal or takes in breath, makes no difference.  Like a drowning soul flailing in the water, struggling, splashing, gasping for breath, survival takes precedence, all else is moot.

​

There is a fable told of a time when the teacher Socrates walked the land.  A potential student stalked his cadence, continually requesting his presence be allowed for learning.  After countless days of harassment, an occasion by a water’s edge transpired.  In mid-speak of the requesters voice, Socrates grabbed the lad forcing him face first into the shoreline waters.  Socrates refused response to the life being flooded with the surprise of fear, holding fast the young man’s state of demise.  When last hopes finally ceased, and limp muscles took their place, Socrates pulled the remaining soul from the brink of deaths hold and with a demanding fist thrust square into mid spine, life’s evidence returned.  Gasping, spurting, gagging and coughing the youngster demanded his request, “Why have you done this, you crazy man?”  Socrates standing fast by the shore, the prominence of his wisdom responded in the cadence as if a simple thing, “When your desire to learn lives up to the measure of your desire to live, then I can teach you.”

I had a chance, perhaps in a dream whether awake or just prior pupil’s dawn I do not recall, to ride the cause of a ripple’s path.  Skipping atop the rings to the last; then straddled atop the crest to find its final form.  When the last horizon arose, I saw a remarkable place where such normalcy was the view.  Very peaceful, so serine, quite placid and pristine the surface did maintain; curiosity could not help but pursue the sun rise of this spawn.

​

The title of the land declares it is of unified consent, and the people of the terrain are said to enjoy their liberties, their freedoms and their peace.  They say they have a practice of beliefs, they deploy their faiths and accept all diverse (even peculiar) manners of social interaction with no regard or need to placate, only confirm.  There is such tolerance expressed toward all nature of their nurtured land into a local fashion for esteem.

​

All modern conveniences are just menial efforts away they say (all things are simple when they are tasks done by others), and they consider each as precious among their own.  Their sanctity and reverence toward their lives is said of themselves to be quite legendary and the earnest measures of their preservation are shown second to none.  The surface of their endless sea is never seen in turmoil, so they say.

​

The politics of their society are said to resemble their people and it is for them they say it was formed (although at one time the text included other criteria such as “of” and “by,” those have faded over time, to better fulfill the state need of being a state for the people, of course).  Quite eager candidates stand in line to participate in this two-party state that apportions the land.  Choice is determined as self-destiny, mandated to appease, for without the public acceptance of their choice, the politics’ methods might seem less appropriate, and that disclosure just would not do.  As long as measures of choice are presented in calculated conclusions to one result, the publics’ contentment is ensured, and the government maintains its acquiesced reward.

​

MONs and SOCs are the names they hold (although other names preferred are published), chosen to be red or blue for color’s sake, however translucent is their preferred state of being so as not to confuse the masses.  Oh, how they enjoy the view of their people.  Such a trust instilled among the republic; such a deserved reward for all the efforts and expenses a civilized servant must undertake and endure.

​

They color the people in a shroud of white so as to complete their flag.  In private sanctuaries of thought they muse how appropriate, the innocence, naivety and preferred acquiescence colors their obligation oblivious.  Yes, the color of nothing is best worn by those who are to be maintained.  You see, the color white is the absence of all other, how fitting for the people to be so adorned.  People should not be bothered with all the trials of the day, they should simply do that for which a need is expressed by those of the greater good, and be grateful in their faith assured by those who lead, their best interest at heart is quoted night and day.

​

All know who hold any experience of time that humans at the core can hear a spirit’s cry, there is a need to believe in more even if just for contentment’s sake, a choice for which to esteem the soul.  Although all physical realms yet realize not its case, must needs be satisfied must be addressed some way.  So, fashion a structure which includes the norm, allows the overt and accepts the hoard, yet kept in fashions to serve self-will maintains priorities adored.  Leave off an obligation from the masses, for contribution precedes contempt.  No, the masses must only need to agree, their state of being is caused by other’s attempts.  So therein lay the quest, the commonality to be sought, develop a state of self in which control has been vanquished and a victim left in its place, readied for their leaders to supply the only satisfaction.

​

So now, over time all has become nigh (most now publicly say it took too long), and the primary belief for all the people is that of the Almighty “C.”  It has been sanctioned, serialized, approved and moneys appropriated to ensure its wellbeing throughout the land, it is a fitting faith, belief and fine art say those devoted to its cause.  This mighty and majestic letter provides comfort in its ready conformity.  Whether needed to be soft and slurring, or hard and abrupt, whichever is required, “C” satisfies the need.

​

It is the personification of supreme power in that within the preferred language even two vowels must change their ways when found in its proximity (those that do not prefer, well, they just do not have a preference, as so agreed by the majority; very simply played, they have learned not to get in the way; for the good of the community, of course).

Yet even with all of “C’s” omniscient power, it manages to remain so simple.  It can be round or squared, elongated or squashed, or whatever combinations are mandated, “C” allows itself to fit.  It can be deployed at will with minimal effort.  It is open and is how you start the word “caring.”  It is not closed and repulsive as that letter “O” which is often confused with zero so obviously leads to nothing.  It is flexible and dynamic, not like the singular nature of that letter “K.”  Whether upright and proper, whimsically placed backwards, or even perhaps laid on its back, it is still the highly popular “C.”

​

When said aloud, it can mean almost anything, whether implying agreement, discussing large water areas or visual perceptions, perhaps even just itself, it is so convenient; what a comfort it is to have “C” in their lives.  It makes no demands, insists not that a believer conform, it is simply there to be used by all.  How benevolent and humble “C” is, a magnificent example of their perfect life goals.

​

All evidence amassed can prove “C” exists.  As well, it has been measured, calculated and concluded by the highly prominent media opinion sources, “C” answers, responds and provides for wishes and hopes, desires and wants just as well as any old “S” or “B.”  “C” is the essence of how they wish to be, how they view their existence, and how they manage their world, if only all could believe in “C.”

​

To further tout its fame, giving credit where it is due, “C” has never required any government intervention (except for its birth), it never gets in the way of the public good or community efforts to congeal its state into positive marks abstaining discourse.  Yes, “C” is the right belief, for all those that understand that appearances must be maintained.

​

“C” began among the big cities, where all things of value are known to take form.  At first just a theory, “C” was met with contentions, some saying it was only a letter in the alphabet, how can it be worthy of respect.  As it grew it was called a cult, an abomination of faiths at its start, but its founders knew the path to the top only requires a little time and money, repetitive assertions and a legal team.

​

After several court appearances, media spots and books, the leadership and courts began defending its cause to exist based on the parchment text conveniently said to exist.  Before long “C” could hold its own among all those ancient structures.  It became quite the rage to be popular in thought, to be counted as current held a prominent appeal, and so more of the masses fell in suit.  How well “C” satisfied their need.

​

Oh, how pretty the prominent people’s rallies were, all aligned with the greater causes of the greater good, themselves adorned with “C” styles. Their charitable intentions self-proclaimed within and without their stance shines forth as if they themselves have endured the culturally appropriated indignity of their cause. So magnanimous, so magnificent, so humble they present their status as the example of the quest by which to be taught the correct processes of thought.

​

Thank C almighty for their existence in our plight (never to be touched by such importance of their own), they might just name me or mine as a reason to survive. To be seen by them in their opinions so prospered and provided as our newest set of facts. Their sanctioned views and obvious wisdom are that which should be obtained.

​

How professionally poignant, how prosperously pronounced, how politely provided as who to listen to, who to follow about, who to adore and adorn as a crown (such a “C” ornament, no doubt). Yes, by all means the celebrity rows falling in line with proper means. Let us hope and pray they each recall the correct script by which to scream and shout to maintain their prominence for all our sakes.

​

Tender cares and claims of understanding toward the lessor forms of life pretend. If only public persona confided the same as behind closed doors, “as long as my wealth is secured, I will portray the sanctions of the charitable norm.”

​

“Oh my goodness, oh my gosh, oh my lord, how hard lessor forms I see must have in their constant trials to survive. I know their fate, I know their ways, I can relate from my palace estates. I know they know not what it is like for them not to be me.”

​

“I take one from ten-thousand, or ½ of one from ten-thousand more, I spread it as if cream cheese on the cake they have been told they should be eating (their own fault if they cannot bake), what more can be done, what more can I feel, everything I know to show as benevolent I have exceeded.”

​

Such trials of temptations to take on independent thoughts, but none to be submitted, promoted, pontificated for, for that just would not be in keeping with the glamor, esteem, fortunes they so rightly adore. An example of consumption, an example of acquisition, an example of how much more should be desired, these celebrities disciplined in proper causes present for all who can manage to view their form. Their generosity of acceptable opinions truly exemplifies what lessor folk should and must be found in compliance.

Once “C” was established as significant in opinion among the tall building dwellers, the low landers found a purpose for similar pursuit of this popular belief.  Their leadership provided the insight required; access and dollars contributing to the news, it was not long before favorable reports of opinions became common.  For the local leaders all knew, if their growth was to continue, they needed to prove they deserved their place among the more prominent forms.  Very essential it was to establish their cause in keeping with the bigger causes talked about in tall towns.  Otherwise, their hopes to achieve the higher standing might leave them stranded on low ground.

​

So yes, “C” must receive favorable mention at all times, for the good of the people of course.  Everyone knows, if the local leadership grows into the higher reaches, they surely take the lesser folk along, not all necessarily, but definitely those providing aided boosts, so it is in the best interest of all to sing the towers song.

​

There were of course some hold outs, those who just could not get along.  So, strategies and schemes were deployed, all legal, court approved of course, just ask the staff.  At first there were just requirements to allow “C” voice, after all that freedom is in writing mandated.  Then official decrees and petitions, providing presence and media reports of opinions regarding all of “C’s” gracious goodness (access and advertisement are such useful tools to ensure opinions can be properly formed, how well the media finds compliance to report the news of prominent opinions).

​

Not long after, there was simply a revision to the performance, and for the good of the community all was made to conform.  “C” must be included at all holidays and festivals, all public pronunciations of glory must include “C” or not be said.  The freedom to believe in “C” must be maintained, regardless the cost or sacrifice.  It is the symbol of our success, our ability to be counted as equal, our goal of being the same, and if need be, it is better that nothing exists if what is popular cannot remain.

​

There was an urgent call for low landers to rally around their leadership, to ensure their climb is to the higher plains.  They must not be left to second class status; how would that reflect on the entire land?  If the leadership failed to follow where all the important places go, their inevitable place in line to the most translucent posts of esteem would all be for naught.  How embarrassing for the community at large, to be seen in such unfavorable thought, they might as well just paint their leadership white.  Although the planet’s crust will insist the lower plains remain, and although the valley masses continue their view the same, at least the leadership can proceed to an elevation less able to be seen.

​

To finalize the form, into a greater good for the community at large, the word “religion” found need to be stricken from all uncontrolled communication forms, written, spoken or symbolized; until finally even from thought.  There are exceptions granted, cunning wisdom advised absolutes breed discontent.  Controlled cases of application, as an example of how it failed, or to express contempt, “religion” may be enunciated, or written with disdain.  This caveat of cause ensures none can blame the structure revised, for “religion” still exists, just now in its proper place.

​

Justified through its repeated rationale, religion was the reason found, in accordance with historical accounts, to be the root of all social discourse.  Too many could not leave its womb and yield a birth appropriate for the needs of the community at large.  It is said to have led to violence and civil destruction; the very infrastructure provided by the state was met with ungrateful ingrates who felt their “religion” required them to publicly disagree with the various commonalities found within all tolerated affairs.  They would constantly and consistently insist on displaying all those controversial symbols and archaic forms of art, and if the state was to survive in the message of allowing citizens freedom, these singular and focused offenses must be made to cease, so that all else could be free indeed.  The need for “tolerance” could not tolerate the habitual nature of religion’s expectation.

​

Religion caused far too many to lose their way.  It fostered rituals and closed-minded citizens caught up in incantations.  All can recall how its greed was promoted and profanely touted on big screens (there are a multitude of media spots showing such available for review).  There was corruption, abuse and misguided masses, believing in a pronouncement of each soul’s value toward a heavenly reward.  How juvenile and pretentious their performance had become.  How selfish and self-serving those martyrs signified by their defiance, they lacked the community’s best interest in their hearts, they must truly be insane.  The priority must be the public profit, for consumption is the holding to amass if the state is to thrive.  To adorn a season with a singular name constricts total sales to a minimum form.  It must for the many to only be a season for all to spend and perceive how fortunate their lives could be, if only they could spend more.  Let the charitable provide the rest, as long as no reverence is expressed, they will be seen as benevolent in self, so more can be spent in no one’s name.  How much greater the communities reward when the sanctioned do succeed, for growth will come through acquisition toward the goals of the state indeed.  So, provide a place during seasons of the past to skate and play and purchase more.  Unbridled from the reins of religion’s guilt inborn, “free at last” at last the people can chant.

​

It was determined religion was non-tolerant in all their quests; they just could not see the value of compliance and commonalities assigned priorities.  In hind-sight all can see, now that history confirms the peoples’ preference toward the higher calling of “C.”  If only they would have just listened to all the opinions expressed instead of insisting their folklore and legends held any historical merit (and history knows what is best to say, for they review the text for better ways daily, oh, how current history has become in satisfying all recent needs).  If only religion could have seen the light and allowed for the community’s diversity to color their ways and adjust their tendencies.  The state says their demise should be grieved, as a reminder of what is best.  Those of the politic are always showing themselves so sincere.

​

Some recall it was a sad day when the word “religion” was removed, but the needs of the community must be met, and the vote was practically unanimous as now recounted and peaceful understandings are said to have taken its place according to history’s report.  For the good of humans everywhere, there was the need to recede the wave of religion trying constantly to wash away all the good the state had to offer.  The state was not to blame for religion’s demise; no, the state put it to a peoples vote, and so in full view it ceased.

The state did all it could at first in attempts to save the word.  On multiple occasions, including at various seasons, during differing alignments of the stars, in the rain, in the sun and on cloudy days, attempts were made to realign its cause.  But alas, for those deploying the term, they just could not seem to release its demeanor to a more all-inclusive remark.  They held it fast to the arcane and invisible, quite improbable by the math, deistic thought, as if that was not the place for a Ministry of the state.  How foolish and silly on their part, it and they simply had to be put away, for the good of the community, of course by vote.

​

Religion just could not adapt within the evolution of tolerant thought, so must needs be satisfied, it too had to die.  Nobody’s fault but religion’s own for evolution must occur, and religion simply could not adapt.  So, for the strength of unity, within the greater community, “religion,” per consensus, was stricken from use and practice.  For fitness and survival within inevitable evolution, religion met its fate.  The state somberly and reverently offered to take its place, if only for the purpose to give to the people focus toward a worthy heir for reverence.  It took a while for some, but most now know to whom to pray.

​

This does not mean that “God” has been removed entirely from the scene, oh no, that just would not do, free choices must be maintained and there is a dire need for His survival.  He is simply resigned to an appropriate status and form which better fit society’s need.  When catastrophe or illness takes a life, if nature’s occurrence should devastate a land, or if frustration develops a sense of being overwhelmed, He is available to accept the blame.  This is a far more convenient method of thought, always ready and relevant, with no lasting obligations.  His name and presence are by law in vain so set by precedence instilled, so His blame is all that can remain.

​

The politic, the state, so admirably acknowledges and accepts responsibility for the human spirit, how magnanimous and wise, for must needs knows the human spirit must be satisfied.  So there are denominational ministries in multitude to choose and decide, agree, debate, declare and relate, so well do the ministries provide.  The ministries employ and sustain the majority of those holding dear their citizenship.

​

How the Ministries became such a source of contentment for the people by and large is due in great part to the two party system engaged.  It began with the SOCs insistence the people must be satisfied.  Unswerving, undaunted, uncompromising, a martyr’s stance was formed.  The SOCs stomped their feet for their people to ensure all were treated the same, they would not compromise that point to any degree.  All their constituents deserved to be the same, no greater, no lessor, no matter contribution, same must be maintained; and that value could not be minimized.  Without assurance of their people’s similarity being established, ensured, instilled and maintained, no further progress would be made.  All forward motions did cease among those entrusted to secure the lands.  The whole of the republic became at jeopardy, transportation, social services, as well as they lay in the balance of the debate.

​

So noble it was, the SOCs insistence of their requisite untarnished, the MONs first tried to retaliate, but the SOCs refused the abuse.  So long hard battles were fought in order to determine the best interests of the state.  To ensure survival some form of agreement was required, both parties could agree of their need to survive.  Many times the casualties were recounted and many tantrums flooded hallowed floors, many had needs their presence be seen, many had need for more.

​

Once embroiled to the extent of continual retort with nothing new being said, the state was informed they could not carry the needed ratings for prominence, so other, more intriguing opinions began being news, gaining sound bites on all morning, evening and nightly broadcasts.  Such as the greatness of “C” and religion’s greed, expert opinions from celebrities, and of course the reporter’s opinion of what took place, all began to fulfill the public’s right to know all dramatic potential of how to claim their personal victimization.

​

You see, a culture is a nurtured event, brought about by adaption to interactions and reinforcements in place.  To evolve a culture into usable form, first a society must be in its place where responsibility is the cause caused by others.  Repetitive chaos instills a havoc mentality leaving a helplessness emotion in place.  Assertions can then be accepted as targeted causes for plight and any direction promoted can be touted as the reason, for when helplessness is obtained, any help is the public’s goal.  To be a victim resolves not only the abstention for self from blame, but also establishes the sole value of the soul is abstention from self control which becomes the priority to manifest.  The status of nothing self-maintained including one’s own control ensures no value is inward born, and assures outward dependence, and outward dependence by the majority allows the state to be depended upon.

​

A societal trend toward such consciousness is then ready for a leadership to provide that which is its own cause, granting opportunity for a presentation of the true measure of value for the culture.  The culture of such an evolved society is then able to be molded into that best ensuring the state of the state is able to promote the state, for the state holds the only value, self being only one of many like spokes intended to fit within the wheels of progress.  Dependence being the requirement for participants at large, the state fills the niche allowing for prominence obtained by those found in agreement, thus satisfying the human tendency of need for completion of cycles.

​

Now amidst the boredom of repeated tantrums and shielded by the public’s diversion, the light of the state’s existence shone brightly toward an end which allowed a rationalization to be born so to satisfy the compromise of their being.  The MONs agreed to ensure the masses were all well kept as long as the “masses” did not mean their own.  As well, their own were to hold the prominent space of accepting contributions and calculating distribution.  For only those qualified by their grace could competently fulfill such a need.  The MONs agreed the SOCs ideal was quaint and could appear quite benevolent, the MONs would not mind that esteem, as long as they had a wardrobe and space fitting their status to distinguish their charitable means.

​

So in order to secure their own and properly ensure they succeeded, the MONs had found the compromise that best suited the politics’ needs.  Yes, their own provided their inspiration in finding a treaty fitting their stature.  They determined to reinforce their place by reminding the SOCs of both parties state, and if but a slight detour would segregate, both of them from the rest in place.  So stated and approved, for survival of their own was best maintained to ensure their stability never changed.  So the MONs and the SOCs agreed all the masses would be the same, and to ensure stability among the ranks, the MONs chose of their elect to regulate and count, divide and distribute; measure and maintain; and the people were all joined as one in the assurance only those qualified were in charge.

​

Yes, the MONs and the SOCs had found final agreement, divided up all monies, established among their own what was to be called an equal share and per capita stated, distributed the sum to appropriate selves who conformed to an understanding of the state’s need, that the people must all be entreated the same.

​

To personify their concern for the masses, the state all agreed, their people must be able to be readily identified, so it could be known from even just a glance, which they are for the purpose granted.  So uniforms of white are to be worn with pride, it symbolizes the unity of the state, their strength and the politics’ resolve.  They are taken care of now regardless of previous forms so long as they remain adorned.  Oh, how they cherish and adore their leaders now, life is made so easy, one simply needs to conform.

​

So now through the wisdom of the state, the compromise for the good of the people could be instilled, and made legal to the point all must conform.  And who of a sanity plea could discount the value of the state?  The politic simply wishes to achieve the people’s wealth rightly counted in the coffers qualified for the reformation of the masses into like status and equal to all else.  What better way to symbolize the states sincerity than for all their people in their sight to be of matching attire.

​

Yes, equality is far too great a priority not to insist the individual conforms to the freedom of the politic sanctioned and voted for.  For those that assign any negative connotations to conformity, saying it is the same as being compliant or controlled, they are reminded and re-taught that “C” would not appreciate their confusing the terms into one.  And on those very rare occasions, when a citizen just could not achieve the higher thought of “C,” the translucency of the authorities would simply consume the offensive presence, so that the whole of the community could live in peace.

​

Never fear, do not dismay, the state understands the citizen’s needs.  A faith must be instilled allowing choices toward self-affiliation and participation by those once strapped within particular religious vows. As such, and in so doing the state so humbly provides for the masses all forms Ministries laid out in regal denominational form.  There are avid evangelists for each of the sects, with publicly persuasive promotions pleading their cause, all just and fulfilling.  Each of the Ministry’s denominations deploy its own manner of thought, such diversity for which to choose, a citizen merely must determine and decide their own calling.  Such generosity granted to the individual, to be as such, so says the state.

​

There is the Ministry of Defense of course to secure the land, a physical manifestation of repose yet available for response.  This is the denomination which allows its participants to engage in the physical release of tensions while instilling the discipline of where it should be applied.  How thoughtful and wise, this denomination truly finds needs fulfilled

​

The Ministry of Science must be maintained for where else will progress stem.  It is a place for calculations and measures, statistics and meters, gauges and buttons; all find contentment within its walls.  Whether schemes of procedures need producing, or approving a new week has passed, or generating altered states of time and place so to find new probability laws it is organized for the challenge.  It satisfies the quest by those highly qualified to prove that for which they imply, even if just in theory, for next week they will count it as fact.  Even if the need is just to publish new facts in keeping with the laws, this humble solace of thought constrained by those contained, is responsible for determining life’s purpose for the whole.  So noble and selfless a calling for those who partake, they are to be esteemed and never so ever a question toward their being.

​

The Ministry of Education ensures all are taught from the same books to avoid confusion along the way.  Too many versions, too many choices, too many manners of thought dissuade the intended and purposed.  All uniform and concise, all common and precise, all compliant and understanding will result in success for the state and how it provides.  So, its compassion can be relished by those that succeed in understanding the supreme legacy of caring for its survival.  How convenient the educated are, for it knows the multiplicity of values “it” can apply.

​

The Ministry of History is a highly sought position, providing participants a vast and wonderful vocation, a career allowing for a more creative side.  A vivid imagination, a moderate sense of logic and a desire to freely express new ways to explain how time and events were enhanced and made perfect by the state is all that is required.  It is a perfect place for all free-thinkers who might otherwise go astray.

​

The Ministry of Social Reform accepts the responsibility to re-educate those who seem to have a hard time just fitting in. These disciples like to call themselves lawyers making all the legal speak needed to ensure they are correct. If logic and reason add up too much to avoid, they just add a few more wherewithal thereunto’s and when needed maybe a whethersomatters hidden deeper underneath all the tiny text so as to satisfy their credos. Therein, so forth, as needed, conformity’s confusion is achieved.

​

If the citizen cannot find in themselves the need to serve the whole of their social realm, they can find solace in more targeted tasks, such as the Ministry of Food, the Ministry of Sports or simply the Ministry of Self (remarkably enough, these apostles quite often become the judges of accomplishments of others to ensure their participation includes the infusion of the whole).

​

And so in lies the world so refined, so placid, so passive, so met with reported self-esteem. Such a place to be led, such a view to prefer as a preference perfected by the state’s benevolence for their cares.

​

Oh, if only, oh if maybe, oh if somehow, oh what the . . .

​

Terms, words, clichés and commentaries flood dawn’s eye lids with a moan, echoing the desire for the day to cease while still in a contemplative state.  What is that racket, what is that noise, why am I being bothered, why can’t I be left alone? Oh crap, that’s the alarm; I cannot afford to be late again.

​

Sometimes, some dreams can be scary.

​

I am left with a daytime dread of a vision becoming tangible in a time inclusive of my participation, what an appalling thought. Yet, for now, all I can do is wait and see what our world chooses.

​
